China's Cotton Textile Boom Index Fell To 46.43 In June 2019.

According to the June 2019 China cotton textile industry boom report released by China Cotton Textile Industry Association, in June 2019, China's cotton textile prosperity index 46.43, compared with May, dropped by 0.39. In June, the raw material purchasing price index was 46.27, which decreased by 1.03 compared with May. In June, the product sales index was 45.04, which fell by 0.54 compared with May; the June product inventory index was 45, which was 0.14 lower than that in May. At the beginning of June, the market continued to be low, the prices of raw materials and products continued to fall, the stock of textile enterprises continued to increase, and the volume of reserve cotton fell sharply, which was in sharp contrast with the high turnover in May.

In the early July, after the good news of the resumption of Sino US trade, the downstream was briefly recovered. But because of the traditional textile low season in July and the uncertainty of Sino US trade situation, the market wait-and-see sentiment is still strong. China's cotton textile prosperity index is expected to remain stable or slightly lower in July.
