Labor Intensive Exports Continued To Grow In April.

Hefei customs data show that this year, our province exports textile yarn fabrics and products, clothing and accessories, furniture and parts, bags and similar containers.

The 7 categories of traditional labour intensive products, including plastic products and toys, totaled 18 billion 200 million yuan, down 20.8% from the same period last year.

However, since April, the traditional labor intensive products have been on the increase for 4 consecutive months, with the growth rates of 86.6%, 16.1%, 4.5% and 20.4% respectively.

The United States is the largest exporter of such products in our province. Before July, our province exported 5.7% yuan to the traditional labor-intensive products exported to the United States by 3 billion 980 million yuan.

Hefei exports 7 billion 280 million yuan of traditional labor-intensive products, ranking first in the province, accounting for 40% of the total export value of the province.

India held second sunset review hearings on polyester yarn in China

The India anti-dumping Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce and industry announced in August 10th that it will hold second sunset review hearings on the polyester yarn (FullyDrawnorFullyOrientedYarn/SpinDrawYarnFlatYarnofPolyesterFDY, tariff code No. 6: 540247) from 4 to August 20th at the conference hall of Thailand.

In May 2008, India launched an anti-dumping investigation on the above products and made a definitive final decision in September 2009. It recommended that the anti-dumping duties of US $240-547/350/80-490 / ton should be imposed on the above products from China, Vietnam and Thailand respectively, and the sunset review will be launched in March 2014.
