From The Perspective Of Museum To Show 2011 New Look Of Chinese Textile And Fashion

The Chinese Silk Museum, located near the West Lake, is a state-level Textile Museum specializing in the collection, display and protection of textiles and silk.

But as a museum devoted to long-term development, the vision not only focuses on the past, but also on the present, because the present is the future.

To this end, the Silk Museum has begun collecting and recording contemporary fashion and textile fashion work. In December 23, 2011, it held the "discovery FASHION 2011 fashion retrospective exhibition", showing the Chinese fashion features from the museum perspective from various aspects, such as garments and fabrics, home textiles, fabrics, finished products, clothing and fashion information.

The opening ceremony was held at 17 p.m. on the same day.

The exhibition is divided into five parts.

The first part is "paying tribute to famous teachers". The exhibits are from famous masters, such as Guo Pei's "100 Fu Tu" and Wu Haiyan's "Fuchun Mountain Residence map".

Famous teachers with distinctive personality will take the audience together to find the cultural imprint of this period.

The second part is the new comer's new power. The exhibits came out of the school design this year. In 2011, the winners of all kinds of new talent competitions in China interpreted their understanding of fashion with their own thinking.

The third part is "brand interpretation". The major clothing brands display their classic costumes, explaining their unique style and real self taste.

The fourth part is called "Xiu Xiu my life", showing all kinds of fabrics.

The fabric design process is a collection of new concepts, new processes, and new materials. It is not only fashionable in fashion, but also rich in fashion.

Museum in traditional sense is a cultural relic exhibition place. The main body of research and collection is antique.

But this year's fashion retrospective exhibition has broken through the constraints of the history and value of the collection objects.

The collection of modern textile and clothing works can comprehensively preserve and record the current situation of the development of textile and clothing.

The exhibition lasted for more than two months from December 23rd to February 29th of next year.

In order to cooperate with the exhibition, in December 23rd, 24 and 25, the Silk Museum also arranged a dynamic show of "looking for fashion and finding happiness" in the hall.
