The Bangladesh government is urged to intervene quickly and create a peaceful atmosphere.

On Monday, 26 of the estimated 250 units were shut down after rioting in the Ashulia and Narayanganj factories on the outskirt of the capital Dhaka.

Last month, all factories closed, when riots spread and more than 200 people were injured.

The Bangladesh government also expressed concern about continued riots and disruptions in production.

On Sunday, Kamdar Mike M asked global importers not to worry about the unrest of the local clothing industry.

The knitting sector is a cyclical phenomenon, which earned $12 billion in foreign exchange income last year.

Poor working conditions and low wages lead to frequent conflicts.

The International Union of trade unions visited workers in Bangladesh's clothing department last month. They thought they had the poorest payment in the world. The abuse of workers' rights in the past two years often happens.

Bangladesh's clothing workers demand 5000 Taka ($86) work, while the owners want to pay no more than 1600 Taka ($26) / month.

Factory owners abandoned the wage agreement and delayed the payment of holiday benefits.
